Competitive Exhibits is a completely free amateur arts, crafts, baking, and horticulture competition. There are many categories for both adults and kids to showcase their artistic talents and creativity! From photography to drawing, needlework to floral arranging, there's something for everyone. Entry is free and all exhibitors receive a free general admission pass to KDays. There is also the chance to win cash prizes, ribbons, and have artwork displayed at Edmonton City Hall! All kids' entries additionally receive a participation ribbon. Winning photography and all physical entries are displayed during KDays, which is a super cool experience for families - going to KDays and proudly seeing your entries on display!
There are two kids categories, Elementary (age 11 and under) and Junior (age 12-17). And there are kid specific, fun, categories on top of the standard classes - such as lego, weirdly shaped homegrown fruit/veggie, and craft made from recycled materials.
The online portal for entering is currently open. Photography entries close July 2nd, art July 11th, and food and horticulture July 24th.

More about our program:
The Royal City Soccer Club, a registered non-profit community organization, is proud to host their 32nd annual grassroots summer day camps. The program is designed to promote personal development, team building and of course, FUN! Uniquely designed to offer a more soccer focused morning with a leisure swim and other organized activities in the afternoon. The program operates during all weeks in July and August for children aged 5 to 13. For more information or to register, visit royalsoccer.com or call 1-800-427-0536.
Our non-profit summer camp works with many organizations to offer donated weeks of camp, and we also work with subsidies including Jumpstart and Kidsport. Volunteers are also an important part of our camp’s success. Volunteers - over the age of 14 - gain experience working alongside kids while having fun and taking on more of a leadership role. Overall, we believe that participating in our summer day camp provides campers with a wonderful opportunity for personal development, meeting new people and creating memories that are irreplaceable.
Royal City Soccer club strives to contribute to a safe, healthy, and collaborative community. I am hopeful you may consider sharing our non-profit summer camp with your neighborhood using the attached graphic and the following blurb:
